FAQs

Is the procedure painful?

You'll hardly feel a thing! We use a topical anesthetic to numb the skin before and during the microblading procedure, ensuring minimal pain. Our clients often report feeling very little discomfort throughout the entire process.

How long is the appoinment?

The duration of the microblading procedure varies depending on the thickness of brows, typically taking between 2 to 3 hours. The majority of the time is spent numbing, selecting colors, and sketching the eyebrow shape. The microblading and shading process itself takes only 60-90 minutes.

Can it cover up previous eyebrow tattoos or permanent make-up?

Eyebrow tattoos and permanent make-up cannot be fully covered up with microblading or shading. Previous work must be faded by 80-90% for best results. Scar tissue affects healed results. We do not perform corrections, removals, or touch-ups for other artist’s work.

How long does it last?

Microblading can last up to 2 years depending on your skin type, skin care routine and lifestyle. To keep your brows looking fabulous, we recommend a yearly touch-up for maintenance. Get ready to rock those perfect brows all year round!

What should I expect after my first appointment?

After the first procedure, you may notice significant improvements. During the healing process, small parts of the eyebrows may naturally shed or the color may heal slightly lighter. The results vary depending on factors such as the's undertones, skin oiliness, and bleeding during the procedure. It is difficult to predict how the ink will heal, so we suggest scheduling a touch-up appointment 4 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment to retouch any areas that require additional work and match the color to your natural eyebrow hair as closely as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

To confirm your booking, we request a non-refundable deposit. The deposit will be charged at the time of booking, and the remaining balance will be due on the day of your appointment. Please note that we may cancel your appointment and charge you the full amount if you do not show, arrive more than 15 minutes late, fail to follow the pre-appointment instructions or review the contraindications list

What is the healing process like?

  • Day 1 - Your eyebrows will be thicker, bolder and darker than they will be when healed. Expect light to moderate swelling and redness. Don’t be concerned. This is all part of the process.

  • Day 3 - Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Excess pigment surrounding the eyebrows begins flaking away.

  • Day 4 - The skin continues to flake, peeling from the outside edges first.

  • Day 5 - Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and grayer for a few days until color clarifies.

  • Day 6 - The color has lightened from its initial overly-dark appearance. For the next few days, the color may be lighter than what the final color will be.

  • Day 10 - The final color begins to stabilize and show through. The color will continue to soften as the eyebrows heal. Depending on your age and body regeneration, the complete healing process may take 4 to 6 weeks. Only then, you will see the final results, shape and color of your eyebrows.

  • If you experience any unexpected issues during the healing process please contact us for more instructions. Contact your physician immediately if you experience any of the following: fever, redness, swelling, tenderness, elevated body temperature, and/or any green/yellow discharge.
